Story: Silk Scarf

(a) SETTING


PLACE: The story happened in Johannesburg , Oriental Plaza.
TIME:  It took place during the day time.

 (b) PLOT
 This story was about a very famous lady known as Mrs Nebo and her friend Magaret. They were accompanied by two escorts when they went for shopping at Oriental Plaza. When they entered the mall, they bought dresses. Mrs Nebo wanted to buy a scarf which would match her clothes but there were none. They kept searching for Mrs Nebo's scarf until they came across a Moghul Boutique of an Indian fella named Mr Sakur. There they found just the scarf that Mrs Nebo is looking for. Unfortunatley she didn't have loose money on her, infact she had only had a cheque book. Unlucky enough Mr Sakur had a rule in his boutique which said "no cheque" so he did not accept the cheque. Mr Sakur and Mrs Nebo started arguing about this until the escorts came in the boutique when they heared the comoution. When they entered, they heard Mrs Nebo saying she is being offended by Sakur. Mr Sader another boutique owner told them that insulting Mrs Sader was a problem. He also warned Sakur how danerous it is to argue with a politician's wife. So Mr Sader gave Sakur money for the scurf and told her to accept it as a present from hawkers in Oriental Plaza.


(c) MAIN CHARACTER

Mrs Nebo was the main chacter in this story. The wife of the minister. She had  heavy lions. She was not that tall and not that short either, so she had a medium height. She had a smooth skinned complexion. She was also a bit short tempered. She was rude as to Mr Sakur.

Short story ''Through The Tunnel''

The setting
This story took place during morning time on the beach and it was summer time.
Summary 
The story is about a boy named Jerry who went on holiday to a beach with his mother. He thought that swimming through the tunnel will preserve his pride although he was not much on speaking terms with the other boys he found at the beach. He also thought that he was man enough to swim through the tunnel.He convinced his mother to buy him goggles which would enable him to see under the tunnel. On the day before they departed for home, Jerry decided to accomplish his mission of swimming through the tunnel. He prepared and dived into the water. At first, he felt he could hold his breathe for ever. When the tunnel became darker, he paniced and started losing control. He kept swimming up to the point where there was lack of oxygen, he even thouhgt he was going to die in there. But fortunately, he saw a light in a distance and he swam to the surface. He was very proud of himself from that day.
Main character
The main character is Jerry. He is a caurageous young man. He was an english. He was the only child in his family. He was young and brave enough to have swam through the tunnel. He risked his own life to prove to his mom that he was not a young boy anymore. He had a pride of earning respect.

My experience of creating blog

At first when the teacher asked us to create blog accounts I was curious since I did not know what it was about. This social network is quite interesting! I went through some amazing steps in creating my account. The first thing I had to do is create a gmail address. The gmail address is vital since one cannot create blogger without it. creating gmail was fun, though I had to verify some information more then one time. Nonetheless, this didn't take up much of my time. Then finally I created my blog account since I have an e-mail. I then edited my profile but not fully since there are certain things I still do not get which am gonna ask around so I can get necessary information. With my blog account I can contact many people all over the world and I hope to learn a lot.
